Movits! - Äppelknyckarjazz

Swedish folk/jazz/hip hop isn't really my thing, I almost turned it off after hearing the first track but after giving it a fair listen there is something about these guys hooks that got me. The second half of the album definitely is my favorite half but the whole thing gets regular play in the mornings. This album will be the newest addition to the pubs database, though I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who will play it. As a barmaid it is really nice when people come and ask for the name of the band you're playing and it happens a lot with this band, even Swedish people. I saw that this group is playing at The Bottom Of The Hill in San Francisco on Saturday January 23 and I felt really homesick because I'm sure they aren't planning a tour of the middle east anytime soon. The band is from Luleå in Sweden. Fel del av gården gets the most play at work, but that isn't because it is my favorite. I found some translated lyrics to the song here

I will likely forget about this band next year, few things last very long for me, but I am enjoying this album a lot at the moment.
